The way it feels like you live in a quiet neighborhood despite being located in the middle of a massive urban area.
Neighborhood and neighbors. Walkability, friendliness
Public safety, homelessness and street maintenance.
Larchmont in particular, convenient & nicer than nearby parts of hollywood
A neighborhood feeling
Central location in the City, the community, historic beauty and charm
The scale of housing and retail, walkability to businesses, community
it is a charming nieghborhood
my neighbors, larchmont as a "main street"
The beauty, the neighborhood/community, the smaller independent businesses instead of chain store businesses
It's a pedestrian friendly (for L.A.), live/work community.
Old Los Angeles charm minus the endless stupid falling fronds
Convenience
wonderful neighbors, charming single family homes, gardens, beautiful sweet village - its not loud and commercial -its quaint warm historical and we are personally connected as a caring small feel community.
HIstorical neighborhoods, neighbors that care about their neighborhoods, neighbors that are willing to take action in their neighborhood
It is a calm, quiet, verdant neighborhood with friendly people who look out for each other
keep up the good work! Thank you for your efforts and time!
great community; walkability but it's defensive walking
A small-community feel within the larger ecosystem of LA: supporting small businesses, prioritizing cleanliness and outdoor space
Combat burglaries
Community awareness
Community and being able to walk to do errands/enjoy meals with a friend or a night out
Stopping all new apartment buildings being proposed on Larchmont Blvd. Not allowing tenants on Larchmont Bl to get parking permits on neighboring streets. Final issue is getting rid of GWNC board members that only support affordable housing without regard to impacts on abutting streets. If they lived on these streets they would not have the same viewpoints
Traffic improvements, Crime, street lights
it used to be safe to walk the neighborhood, now you need mace in your pocket
Community, walkability
Weather
quiet, nice neighbors, safety, cleanliness
I love that it has a neighborhood feel within a big city. I also love our diversity.
I love the community of neighbors in Larchmont! The fact that I know my neighbors and we have whatsApp groups to help keep each other safe is remarkable. I had spectrum to my house recently and they talked about needing to access another yard 2 doors down and one behind me and I told them no problem I can message them now. The guy said to me, I can't believe you know all your neighbors this never happens.
street cleaning needs to be more consistent - they don't sweep every week and we have a lot of leaves/trash and junk pick up
Friendly, caring neighbors, beautiful architecture, proximity to great shopping & esting (Larchmont Village, K Town, Melrose Hill, etc)
